    High resolution film

I'm a little out of touch on this, and wonder if anyone has recommendations for high resolution film. sensitivity is not an issue here.

Many years ago I used Kodak Technical Pan, but can't get it any more

Ilford Pan F 50 ASA I understand is still available. Developed with one shot dilution of Adox Rodinal developer should produce good results although it is years since I last did it.

    Hi Peter.

Ye can get still get Kodak tech pan on ebay and some other sources, fridge-stored, out of date (around 10 years past use by). Haven't used it myself. Efke (25-50-100) uses Adox formulas from the 1940s/50s. Ye can get Adox CMS 20/CHS 100 and Silvermax 100.

    Fuji Velvia 50

These are all Hi-res film, Efke and Adox around 5-6 GBP, Fuji around a tenner. The Kodak about the same as the Fuji, but usually a bit more.

As L.Paul said Ilford Pan F; ah like Pan F50...

Try Bluefire Laboratories' Bluefire Police, described as an ultra-high-resolution 35mm film plus it is intended to serve as an excellent replacement for Technical Pan.
