    Spanning the generations

Taken in the Kensington Market District here in downtown Toronto.
The older man is Ruben, one of the Kensington regulars, and he was sitting outside one of the many cafes in the area chatting with the owner (who by the way is a very fine photographer) when I came by.
What caught my eye was how engaged the two men were in their conversation, and how the cafe owner seemed to be completely engrossed in Ruben's every word.
I quickly grabbed this shot and then joined them for a few minutes.

I like this image Robert. I also like the reflection of the man in the window.

    Yes a good composition.

I would have preferred it without that bright strip behind the head of the man on the right, but this is quick thinking street photography so you just have to work with what is instantly available

Very nice composition here, Robert...I always like listening to stories of people older than me...they have a lot wisdom to impart through their experience...the thing is -- how to spill the beans on their youth past...

I love this shot, for the reflection. In the foreground the old man is telling stories to the younger guy, and in the reflection the female face is looking at the old man's reflection as if to say, "Really?!"
The young guy is lapping it up, but he woman says, pull the other one.
