    Where to rent?

Any advice on a good place to rent a camera on-line in the US?
I checked the off-line options around here - they are too expensive.
I want to try D750 - see how the results compare with my Pentax K-5.
Will be shooting the ballet performance by the local dance studio.

Don't know if you can organise on line, but Calumet rent kit here in the UK, and I understand they do have branches in the US

LensRentals - rented from them a couple times with positive results.

We used to have a brick and mortar Calumet store in San Diego County (City of Escondido) which had a great rental department. You could check a camera or lens out on Friday and bring it back on Monday for the price of a single days rental. During weeks when we had Monday holidays, you could bring the gear back on Tuesday for a single day's rental charge.

I've used LensRentals.com too with great success. They deliver when they say and the gear is always great. Prices are very competitive.

    Re: Where to rent?

    Almost went with LensRentals.
But... I need a camera for one day. Happens to be Sept.5. Happens to be long weekend - Labor day.
Therefore: can't ship to me later than Sept.4. Can't ship back before Sept 8. Result (per LensRentals) - 4 days rental.
    I thought it wasn't fair.

Went with www.atsrentals.com To them it's a one day rental. Plus they have damage protection at no extra charge. In the end - better price than lensrentals. Will see how it goes.

    Thanks for the help!

    Richard, "used to", right?
    I've been to that store.
They are not there anymore, as far as I know.
