Was the infinity focus manually set to avoid the AF getting it wrong if the plane(s) slipped off an AF point?
I agree a slower shutter speed and probably a narrower aperture for improved IQ would have helped, but thy're not bad at all as they stand.
I see the focal lengths range from around 70 to 160mm, what lens were you using?
I ask because I guess the f4 most(all?) were taken with is probably wide open.
