This works really well for me mostly because I like the better view of the sea and the more interesting foreground that doesn't seem to be blocking my view.

Nice use of lines and natural patterns, however I think that foreground creates a psychological barrier for me, the large rock formation and the line across the horizon immediately behind the rocks just sort of stops my gaze.
