Trouble with EXIF and Chrome browser (?)

    Can anyone help?

I posted an image yesterday, and when I rolled my mouse over the image when viewing in Chrome, I got the message "Exif not found". I uploaded another to the Community Lounge and got the same thing.

    However -

Using Chrome I can see the EXIF's in others' photos, just as I've always been able to do
Using Firefox I can view the EXIF's in my photos, so they are there!

Image are all exported using Lightroom, and uploaded with Tinypic.

Any ideas (and don't just say use Firefox, please!)

You've answered your own question. Use Firefox.

The problem might be the plugin you are using to read the EXIF data, not the browser itself...

I downloaded the prize bovine shot and examined it with ExifToolGUI and can see nothing thing wrong with the EXIF data; nor with any of the other meta-data which is quite abundant in that file . . your name, all the Adobe XMP settings, ICC header and profile, etc.

Thanks, Ted. Yes, I found the same, so I don't understand why I can see others' exif in Chrome, but not my own. Have to call it a mystery.

Incidentally, the judge said she had a "lovely feminine head", I guess it is in the eye of the beholder

Can you give a link to the photo you encounter problems with? I don't want to guess.

    Hi George,

Here is the link, you'll have to scroll down, though the actual problem is that I can see everyone else's exif, but not my own. You must agree she is a fine looking gal!

HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?

Forgot to mention that I also compared the meta-data with that of shot of mine from a Panasonic GH1 and saw no significant differences.

Thought it was a bull, it was that ugly

    She is lovely indeed.

I installed Chrome and tried to install a viewer extension. To be honestly, I didn't succeed and have no good feeling with Chrome and it's extensions or apps.

Is it normal that I have to log in to see your link? It's just a public thread on this forum.

It's because it's in the Community Louge, which is members only.
