    These are so awesome I can't believe this made it to the bottom of the forum without being commented on. Beautiful level of detail here and the colours are stunning. Great job.

    Thanks for your comments.I find insects fascinating and really enjoy macro photography.I've done a lot of stargazing over the years through telescopes and have turned my attention in the other direction.I've been shooting macros with a MR-14ex ringflash lately and am still working on the lighting.

    I'm getting pretty harsh speculars although the colours and contrast look good.I need to come up with a diffuser, maybe some layers of tissue paper or some bubble wrap.
    I haven't found any DIY stuff for this flash on the net.
