I really like the use of the two main bright areas of light. Great story telling!

I am with Mike here...I also noticed the light from one of the windows (?) on the side and the one in front at the altar...that is absolutely beautiful...

Nicely captured, has a cinematic/artistic quality to it.

It is a good scene Gerry,

I think it could be improved by slightly rotating (clockwise) and applying some perspective correction to then straighten verticals on both sides - I suggest this because they are currently straight (vertical) on the left, but leaning on right - just need to be careful not to lose any important picture elements when cropping. As an alternative; 'warp'/free transform it by pulling the top right corner over (out of frame) to right. Given the great scene and lighting you have captured, it is worth a little effort I feel.

If you shot RAW, I also wonder if you could burn the exposure down on your wife's shoulder a bit.

Just a couple of thoughts, which I hope help.

    Cheers, Dave

    Great shot and atmosphere, Gerry.
I'm with Dave regarding the perspective correction and highlights. I'd be then tempted to crop out the right hand side of the image with a 7x5 ratio frame, which would put your wife on a 3rd line in the new composition.

What a shame the other people are in the scene. Would have been a fantastic image of solitude otherwise.

Hi Dave, thank you for your suggestions I appreciate them. At the moment my pp skills are limited to basics, but hopefully I'll get there. Cheers

Hi Phil thanks for you suggestions. As you said ''shame about other people'' it took me so long to get this shot as my wife thought I was elsewhere shooting, as I wanted to get it without her knowing. This was a typical scene
