MONOCHROME Mini Competition #18
Since the aim of these is to get you taking and submitting photos, let see if it can also encourage people to post monochrome (black and white) images, even if that's not in their normal photography 'diet'.
Here's how it works ...
- You good folks post MONOCHROME images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)
- When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll
- After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!
- If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post
Too easy eh?
Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.
If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forum

Grasses
40D, Tokina 11-16 f2.8 @ 16mm. ISO 100. 1/2500 @ f2.8. Manual
Fastest I've ever had the shutter going. There was a real gale blowing and the grass was tossing about (I know I should have tried something wider with more blur to show movement!), so was going at 6fps on the 40D with the aim of getting something in focus.

This is a pic I took in Amsterdam months ago. I decided to put it up since there was nothing in the rules stipulating date or time of shoot. Besides, I've been itching to share this

Ummm, I think there's something wrong with the percentages in the poll. It says there are 12 people that have voted but I think there are twice that many now. Not that it spoils the polling, but it's not working properly.

So, on these mini comps the criteria are that you vote for however many you think deserve your vote. The percentages reflect the number of votes cast, not the number of people voting
