Any odd Pro/Client exchanges to report?

For our professional members here, these might amuse:

    Nice, seemed like reasonable requests.

The oddest thing that ever happened to me was that during the Cake Cutting (cake smashing - which I never liked anyway) the wedding couple were a little bit drunk and they got too vigorous in the smashing which prompted the respective and also drunk families to take sides in a frenzy of cake throwing and smashing.

The couple split up on their honeymoon.

The moral of this story for professionals is always get a deposit which will cover your costs. This was more important in the days of film and prints. I didn't lose anything on this wedding but, didn't make any money either. It was the last wedding that I shot except for the weddings of my two step daughters.

I was coerced by the girls into shooting these last two weddings...

Well at least you had the historical documents (on the bad wedding) in case evidence was needed.
