Themed Photo Challenge #5 - MOVEMENT

This challenge's theme is: Movement
The closing date will be: Tuesday 22nd June 2010
Theme announcement date was: 18th May 2010 (today, ooops, sorry)

There are a few rules;
A) Photographs must be shot after the theme was announced
B) Photographs should be posted in this thread before the closing date (don't leave it too late)
C) If a person enters more than one picture, each should be in a separate post
D) No voting for your own photograph(s)
E) Since many do already, it seems only fair that everyone entering should cast votes (for each other's efforts)

Voting;
When announced, voting (open to any member) will be by Private Message (PM) to Dave Humphries, over a period of two days or so. This will ask you to state your favourite three photographs in '1st, 2nd, 3rd' order by "V number" reference. Scoring will be done the '3, 2, 1' points way.

Theme topics;
The winner of any challenge will be nagged by me until they make a suggestion for a subsequent challenge ;) - which I will then announce ASAP (usually :rolleyes: )

This theme (#5), was chosen by Donald who won the #3 challenge in mid-April.

I've struggled with this topic. All my previous ideas have either appeared too static or tended to look like a bad attack of camera shake. Finally decided that some sort of static reference point was needed; and the wheat has grown another couple of inches by now!

My congratulations to all the winners, these three jockeyed for the lead throughout and the rest of the field were a good ten furlongs behind them at the end of the race.
