Very interesting, Colin. I keep getting pulled between the white rock to the left that makes me think of a horse's skull, and the vanishing point in the center. I assume that's intentional. It makes a cool tension.

    Cheers,
    Rick

Thanks Rick - The vanishing point was key to the composition, but I found that I needed something to anchor the shot, which the rocks kindly volunteered to do!

The foliage along the left balances the tree on the right nicely, and pulls you in.

Tell the truth, you bring some of these plants along for these shoots, don't you?

    Cheers,
    Rick

Shhhh ... they're actually weeds from my garden that I threw away there last year!

Very nice colin, i like this one alot. The stream pulls you through the photo, with plenty of interesting colors and shapes along the way. From the yellow and white leaves in the water to the rocks ,to the green (things what ever they are ) ,to the interesting twists of the tree limbs. Looking forward to the next one.
