Just to finish off this thread to advise that the reflection of a swan/bird in a soap bubble is impossible simply because as funny as it might seem, birds are afraid of soap bubbles. I recruited my honey-do to blow bubbles for me and as soon as he blew bubbles the ducks took off, with lightening speed. Tried it three times around different ducks (minimize stress) to confirm that it wasn't a coincidence. Sorry, Izzie.

Anyhow here is a shot taken in the city at sunset.

    SS 1/1000 f/4 ISO 640 Focal length 300 mm (Cropped about 40-50%)

I like the reflection seen inside this bubble. The background was nice and blurred but I darkened it with a levels layer so the bubble would stand out.

This time it was quite the challenge photographing the bubbles because it was windy, and most of the bubbles crashed evaporate before I could grab focus. I'd also like to fill the frame with the bubble, which means bigger bubbles are needed.

I will try again another day (it may be a while as I need coordinate with my husband's schedule), as I'm not coordinated enough to blow the bubbles and take the shot. If I manage one that I like I will post and share.

    Thank you to all!
