NO there was NO fault, amazing how a false comment can spread, I received one of THE first into the UK back last year, and can assure people that it is perfect, perhaps a false rumor laid by Tamron whos 150-600 can not compete with the (S) model

More recently, Sigma debunked the rumor of a manufacturing defect affecting the Nikon version, and drove the point home on their Facebook page, in a reply to a user.

A: There is a ton of misinformation on rumor sites. The truth of the matter is that worldwide demand for Sigma lenses has skyrocketed in recent years due to the quality, performance and pricing offered, and demand for both Canon and Nikon 150-600mm Sports lenses is incredibly high and the factory is working hard to keep up with incoming orders for all the new lenses.

Jeremy, I assume you've seen this about the new foot for the 150-600? This is really a great idea rather than letting third parties do it. Sigma is stepping up their game.

No that was not what I meant, but thanks for the link I will get one of those as it beats the setup I have with 3rd party ad ons
