TREE THREAD - Post your tree shots here
Inspired by Bleys https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/fo....htm#post42418 this is the tree thread. Post your tree shots here for discussion and comment.
1. Only one shot per post to avoid confusion, but post as many as you like.
2. Colour, BW, highly-modified, it doesn't matter.
3. Tree(s) must be the main subject in the shot.
4. Bonsai is allowed :)
5. Put a TITLE at the top of the shot so others can refer to it.
Re: TREE THREAD - Post your tree shots here
This was shot last year. I smeared the UV filter with Vasoline (DO NOT PUT IT ON THE LENS) then did some fancy stuff that I can't for the life of me remember in CS4. I saw a shot like this yesterday going for up to $9,000! That ain't fair - mine's better (sound of foot stomping and china breaking) http://www.photographersgallery.com/photo.asp?id=2843 BTW they have some great BW shots on that site.

Donald
I just added a ruleto provide a shot title (you probably missed it)
Lovely detail in the branches - really caught well. That's what makes trees so interesting, I find. They often look better in winter for that reason.

I might nod off. Yes I might put football on the tv that usually works. :)

How does balancing a football on the TV help you nod off?
Surely, when it rolls off and bounces on the floor, it wakes you, doesn't it?

Spring Trees in the Light
This photo was taken in Little River Canyon just as the leaves were opening. I find the variations of leaves in spring just as fascinating as fall colors. This photo loses quite a bit from being reduced in size.
