    selection size in photoshop

When making a selection in photoshop i know that if i have the info tab open that i can see my selection size and position information. on a tutorial ive been watching the author had the selection size showing immediately adjacent to the cursor. Is it possible to have this in cs5? if so how do i enable it?

Can you supply a link to that tutorial. To be honest, I've never noticed that "selection size".

Mark, that tutorial was made in 2014...one can assume is was made using PS CC. I just checked on
my PS CC...those "sizes" show on screen when using the "Marquee" tools, as he used, when using
the "Selection" tools they only show in the info section....older versions, don't remember!
