Early in 2014 I undertook the challenge to photograph the moon in various phases. This included a number of the eclipses, young moon, full moon and a couple of the super moon events. I’m attaching a photograph of the August 8th(?) super moon. The photograph was taken from the back of my son’s ski boat, as opposed to being firmly planted on a tripod. So, to that point, it is probably not all that bad of a shot. However, the “man-in-the moon” features are not a distinct as I want. The camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T3i in “p” mode. Exposure is 1/125 sec. at f/4, ISO 500, white balance “Auto” and focal length at 92mm. I would appreciate any meaningful critique of the photo and suggestions as how to improve the shot. There have been no post exposure modifications.
