    Hi John,

The sky in the first image doesn't work for me because I love naturally beautiful skies, so I don't understand this one.

But I love the 2nd image for the lines/layers of the trees, gorgeous colours and beautiful detail!

    Hi Christina,

Thanks for the comments and critique. I shot the first image because of the contrasting skies, greying on the left and blue on the right. The winds were blowing them in the direction of the sun and I just liked the change.

#1 is not your usual building/architectural shot, John. Well, apart from the sky, it is the focal building that doesn't work this time around because it looks like ... a flat building. It doesn't seem to have an angle to it. I don't know...can't explain it very well. I like #2 for it's colour too...like the others.

Not sure why the sky looks a bit blotchy in the first image John? Doesn't work for me. Have you artificially blurred the top and bottom of the image? Like the second image though.

    Hi John,

No blurring, the wind was blowing and the clouds were moving right to left at a pretty good clip. Thanks for the comments and critique.

I like your second image. Wonder what it would look like had you changed the viewpoint, almost as if the trees lined up on both sides converged towards the end.

    Hi Haseeb,

Thanks for the comments and critique, will try for a reshoot but can't guarantee the cloud formation.

Hi John, I like #2 IMO the blown out sky on the left in #1 distracts.
