I have been taking quite a lot of photo's at gigs recently as it's really my first love as it allows me to combine my 2 fav pasttimes. Here's a couple from some recent ones. I nearly always shoot mono at this venue as the lighting rig is extremely active all the time, and tends to make everyone look like either a Smurf or a demon!

Nicely done. I tried the mono shoot but shots always look either overexposed or underexposed.

Yes, that one has a good angle. A bit of a pity about that distant light near her neck area which is slightly distracting. I think I would have a go at cloning it out; also the one in the bottom left corner, which would be a lot easier to fix.

Nice shots! Photographing gigs is always difficult for me, far more difficult than photographing stage shows...
The really nice thing about photography is that we can combine it with just about any other activity that we enjoy participating in or viewing...
