Found the Spider (just for fun)

Some weeks ago I posted a couple of stream running water images and mentioned the webs between some boulders and what sort of spider might choose to live in that environment.

Sorting some images for dumping today that I took last week I came across this one and by chance noticed the scampering eight legged friend.

The image is nothing special but I'm glad I now know the size of these guys and they appear no real danger

And so the search for the spider is on... 'found him at the bottom near the rocks. I still think this place is a good one to wet my feet and do my pedicure while I relax...

Hi Grahame, I'm only on my iPad at the moment and have to admit I could not find him so thanks Izzie, after reading your reply I found him

    Cheers David

You could take a macro next time, Grahame, and catch him in action.

Izzie, John, David & Greg, thanks for viewing and commenting.

It really intrigues me why these guys are present in this habitat and whether they are there through choice or have been washed down the river and are making an escape

Next time I get a chance to explore these streams again I will spend more time searching them out and investigating their movements.

    Grahame
