    B&W Conversion for C&C

I wasn't crazy about the color version of this so did a conversion. Appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

I like your conversion for the most part, especially the relatively little mid-tone contrast compared to what most people would use. You've created a very serene mood. The only thing that I don't like is the toning; the slightly bluish tint on my profiled, calibrated monitor doesn't work for me with this kind of scene.

Nice conversion, exposure control and processing, Brian. Regarding the bluish tint, I have to agree with Mike, though. Maybe the image could benefit from a slight reduction of the blue tones.

    Well done, anyway!

    Cheers,

Brian...very nice shot...anything with water is a good shot for me anyway...I won't comment on what the others had already said.

    For Mike & Otavio,

Thanks for bringing the blue tint to my attention - it's been removed and makes for a much better image.
