    Nice, Jim! I didn't know deer had whiskers. What length lens did you use? I like the lines and the color of the background enough that I might be tempted to clone them over the light green patch in the lower lefthand corner, just to make it all a little more uniform. And perhaps desaturate the bright green on the right a touch, or do whatever is required to make it look more natural. Those appear to be somewhat contradictory impulses, don't they? Imitate art here, nature there. Don't mind me. I'm backing out the door now.

    I use a Panasonic FZ35 bridge camera. Have used the FZ series for years and find them fun.

    I think I agree with your points. Sometimes I don't pay enough attention to the background when PP.

    I like the 'who are you' look. Perhaps the image is a tad too stylized. Minor detail though. The whiskers are great.
