    But another orchid

This time I used a light box and went a little farther and did some stacking experimentation...
I took the 85 slices into PS CC and into Zerene and then stacked those results in PS, it did help!
The first image is basically after all the stacking was done...the second image is after putzing around.

The light box is a cool tool with main propose to eliminate local shadows.
Something happened to cast shadows in this take that is not meant in
using a light box! Did you use a light source that hit the subject directly?

Did you shift your lights here William? I like the darkness of the yellow face at the bottom and you made it too light at the second shot...although I like the face of the second white one...maybe a little bit of light playing somewhere in between should help? This orchid has twin personalities...

    #2 for me also.

Why 85 images? I have never used more than 20+ for flowers, and that was for very deep ones (and may have been more than I needed). I don't recall exactly, but I don't think I have ever used as many as 10 for an orchid. I ask because you may be making things harder for yourself than you need to.
