It's a Pleasure to Meet everyone....

It's a sincere honor to meet all of you.
I married my bride 27 years ago; we raised 3 kids (now all adults; 20, 23, and 25)

I bought my first camera at age 7; Kodak Instamatic.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!! Film in a cartage! No need to rewind when finished !!!
    !!! Choice of two ISO film (200 /400) !!!
!!! Choice of two film exposures (24/36) !!!

Geez, hmmm, was this the advent of "point-n-click" technology?

I did need to upgrade (LOL) however, when our at child began playing indoor basket ball i.e. low light/moving action, etc.
Took a big change and bought Canon's 1st DSLR EOS Rebel body only. Added Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 AF lens, and away I went; able to shoot indoor action at 200mm.

Then added Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 AF IS.

    Best Regards,
    Tu Vu

I got mine (Instamatic) at 14. I found it near the back door of a tavern
in the Old Montréal. There were 24 frames in there and only one had been
shot. The following week, I was screwed, I discovered that don't have, and don't
foresee to have the money to develop the filming a next future.

    • I don't recall what happened to the camera
    • I would be hard pressed to know still what was on the film
    • If anyone finds it… never mind, I got 3 that are somewhat better these days!

    Welcome to CiC!
