    Pelicans

    Went for a meal at a restaurant alongside the river Berg in Velsddrif, hanging around outside for any freebies was this little chap.Never seen one so up close before and he looked such a comical chap.

    Nicely done, cast shadow really makes the first, I would have utilized more of the reflections in the third as part of the composition.

    These sure are different to the pelicans I am familiar with. The markings on the beak are amazing. Good captures, Neil, sharp and good Dof.

    Awww...I am going to go birding next week and pelicans will be a-plenty where I am going. Maybe I can catch something as comical as these. Great shots...

    #1 is the pick of the litter for me. It's got one foot on top of the other. Hope it trip over them. Stand tall but cast a small shadow.

    With shots of that quality, you could donate them to your external hard drive , but is that the best use?
