    Wide Open - a test

I have just processed a few files from my first walkabout with my 'new' lens - just to see how I get along with it, how it renders, if there's any focus shift etc.

Here's a trial shot wide open at f1.2 just to see what the background's like:

Very nice, Phil. I like it. You are very good at your street photography..."Open Mic" on Fridays -- is this the same as karaoke?

I think so, Izzie - not bad for a 33 year old lens wide open!

Izzie, open mic (open microphone) means that anyone can come up to the microphone and make a contribution.

Phil, very nice. I love everything about this picture.
