European Education Initiative • Project 2/14

    Theme: Integration

This is the second study of this project

The complete job comprises 14 posters/adds on different themes that were
adopted by a working comity of european education lobbies.

I was asked to present one proposal/prototype that I may choose from
the 14 adopted themes. I have still some time before the presentation so
I thought to post the actual state of an idea.

The first was interesting but this is getting better. A one frame story
    Fantastic simplicity.

Projects 1 & 3 are more my ideas since my son started school, he does not
have so much time anymore. In this project 2, he had most of the input.

Nice concept, did you deliberately use the cast shadow near the crease as a leading iine?

    Well observed John!

The answer is yes! …but it was a very happy accident! I loved the way it supports
the directional gesture of the "teacher".

That's an interesting concept Kodiak, sure to catch attention, which of course is the idea.

Thanks John, I know some would prefer to see bright colours and neon effects
but, by keeping the colour palette rather subdued, I have chosen to play with
symbolic shapes in "human" attitudes and postures, and their soft long shadows.

The design and rendition being constant throughout the series, I hope to create
an attractive collection of well recognizable origin and so get the job that would
be published all over Europe and translated in all the languages within.
