    Just noticed this thread. Good work Daniel - it does create a quiet mood.

    Do you speak German in addition to English and Quebecois?

    Incidentally, matches that were 70 years old (at least in Canada) probably would have had white heads with red tips (Eddy Match Company). My father used them and as a child I wanted to play with them.

    BTW - just looked at your site - nicely done and interesting. Still wearing the leaf eh? They look like your sons.

    Yes Glenn, I remember them very well too. It is the reason why I say (before
    someone else does) that the used matches are future antiques…

    My mother tongues being French, and Québécois, I'm still sweating in English
    and spitting a whole lot more in German. My greatest advantage is that my
    work is mostly in Europe where English and French go about everywhere.
    The little business I do here, in Austria, is more for the trainings of my sons.
