    Converging Streams

Following on from my Swaledale images which I posted recently. Here's one from one taken in very harsh light, from one of my favourite little places, it has so many potential views in a very confined and peaceful area. I suspect that it would have been a lot noisier when the lead miners were working.

That's an area with some real potential for some close up shots of the water and rocks Peter. Very peaceful.

Hi Peter. Nice place and nice image. IMO if you crop all of the sky , you will get another nice composition

That's really interesting. The composition as is nicely leads my eye to the top right area. If cropped as Binnur suggests, it leads my eye to the lower left area. Both are very nice.

That's a real winner, Peter. A beautiful scene combined with dramatic action in the water. Well done!

Thanks for the crop suggestion Binnur, is this what you had in mind?

Hi Peter , they are all lovely images Yes, the crop I meant was something like this but I wouldn't crop from right side so much, I would leave about 2/3 of the big rock in the frame.

Exactly Peter, great composition and the water captured at the right speed. I was also thinking along the lines of much closer shots of those perfect rocks with the growth.

Yes that does look like an area with many possibilities for some "microscapes". Sometimes less is more. One could wander up and down that stream for quite a while looking for opportunities. Doing so on a cloudy day may be most productive.

Regarding the first image, I agree with Binnur that the version with the sky cropped out is more appealing. Leaving the right side alone and cropping down into a pano format with the stream running diagonally across might be interesting.

Moving the image in Lytebox I thought of the same crop as Binnur suggested...but then you already did it, so I have the mind to go back to bed knowing you did it already... Yep! the first image is very nice to start with but made it better with the crop suggested. Love it, mate!

Gorgeous place. Reminds me of my childhood playing in the water among the rocks and ferns. Great captures.

I would have this one framed to display on my wall.
