Lightjet or Inkjet?
Hi
I am interested in printing some of my photos but can't decide which type of printing process to use - Lightjet vs Inkjet. I have read about Lightjet and this seems to be the way to go. Is there a good company based in UK (I'm based in London) that may send me samples of Lightjet prints?
Thanks in advance.

If you have not already seen this comparison, it may prove interesting.

This was carried out some years ago now, there may have been improvements. Has anyone here used lightjet printing, I guess most will have used inkjet or dye sublimation?

Re: Lightjet or Inkjet?
I've made quite a lot of Lightjet prints. Lightjet prints have excellent longevity (archival rating around 100 years), and have very rich, deep dark tones and blacks (great Dmax). Inkjet printers can also have excellent longevity if they use pigment-based inks, but less so if they use dye-based inks.
