    MONOCHROME Mini Competition #7

    Monochrome Mini Competition #7
Since the aim of these is to get you taking and submitting photos, let see if it can also encourage people to post monochrome (black and white) images, even if that's not in their normal photography 'diet' (e.g. like me)

    Here's how it works ...

    - You good folks post MONOCHROME images in the thread (please change your post title to a name for your picture)

    - When we get 10 images we will attach a voting poll

    - After 3 days the poll closes and the winner is declared!

    - If you would especially like some critique after the competition poll closes, please make it known in the post

    Too easy eh?

Limit of 1 image per post, and 2 image posts per person.

If there are already 10 in the current comp, please start a new thread in this forums

    Church Rock

This is Church Rock in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. I think I shot this with a 100mm macro lens. Don't ask me why. At least it came out sharp!

Here is an old church in Upstate NY that no longer has services.

    Wendy
That brought a smile (and dulled the agony of my sore shoulder).

Mostly all good ones here, but I bet the next one will be even better if that were possible; mini black and white competition number 8.

I like it Arith, BUT I'm thinking I would like it better without the darkened diagonal portions at the sides of the circle. Just a thought. It kind of looks like a planet or the moon rising on the horizon but the darkened portions ruin it for me. Sorry, but you did ask.

I did it then I thought I've gone too far; then I thought maybe I haven't. But then my stomach said get some food and that's why I posted it, apart from the obvious need to get #8 going this month. Cheers Wendy

Is this better or does it lose its 3D-ness.

I like this better. I don't see 3D-ness in the first one, just dark diagonal bands, but I don't have my special glasses.

So far, that's the image I liked best. It make me stop scrolling. No offence to anyone!
