Thread: A perfect view of Wales (or New Zealand?)

A perfect view of Wales (or New Zealand?)

A little bit of humour... sorry, Colin

A perfect view of Wales (or New Zealand?)

EDIT: Perhaps I ought to have added that both those fine and noble nations have spectacular scenery, great photographers (sic) and sheep to die for...

Here in NZ they had a trademark of "pure virgin wool" - which was aptly subtitled "fast-running sheep"!

My wife claims they are intelligent creatures. That would account for them running suddenly in front of the car as you go past them at 50mph. Sheep with a death wish. But perhaps we are being a little harsh? They do have a cute side (I normally think that after a couple of beers). Please post any of your sheep shots here!!!

    All together now... "aaaaaah lovely...."

Ahh. A sort of Welsh Readers Wives section? whoops.... thats rich from someone who has lived in Cumbria Nice bondage gear in the first shot by the way....this is too easy. Like shooting sheep in a barrel

That would account for them running suddenly in front of the car as you go past them at 50mph
I think I might jump in front of a car if I were being chased by a gang of welshmen dressed in nought but their Uniroyal Royal Hunters, leather cowboy hats (why do UK country folk wear those?) and big smiles

    I will stop now

I camped in Wales once and the scenery was spectacular, sheep everywhere and it rained and rained, didn't stop raining. So I went camping in Cornwall from then on and it rained there as well but it was warm rain.

I think lamb chops are great with mint sauce.

None of that namby-pamby leather harness stuff out here in the sticks. Y'gotta be tough to survive hereabouts. We prefer them with that added bit of spirit. A perfect view of Wales (or New Zealand?)

    Nice shots Rob and all.
Oh and Colin ... I am sure you have heard why sheep are swimming across to NZ from Aussie

Nice property you live in there, Colin. Where do you keep the sheep, man?

Ladies and gentlemen (and sheep) I give you the... intellectual sheep! Note the far set eyes, and the long head holding the MASSIVE BRAIN... and that look of expectation in the eyes?

Sorry, but that is a contradiction in terms. There is no such thing. It has not yet been invented.

Thanks Rob - it's got a lot more space upstairs than my previous dump of a place!

I didn't realise that so many of our members were shepherds ... are there any shearers

Possibly. Lot's of people on here keep going on about cropping... but that could just be a load of old bull?

That is one hard looking sheep. A cardiff sheep by any chance? Very nice b/w study by the way.
