Morning Wave, Sunrise, and Moonset
Here is my entry: Morning Wave, Sunrise, and Moonset
It was a bit strange that sunrise and moonset were at the same direction in this morning ...

Hi Yan,
It almost looks like your about to get soaked a split second later!
Great stuff - this type of shot is one that I need to invest more time in capturing.

Thanks Colin. From Jan- March this year I spent most of my photography on Seascapes. This one was shot very close to the cliff. I always got wet when taking photos like this one. I had once knocked down by a big wave (together with my tripod and camera - the camera got wet but OK). Now I am very careful when I am shooting close to the cliff or in the water.

Hi Yan,
Sounds to me like you need to upgrade to a 1D series :)
To be honest, waves are someting I've had to put a bit of thought into, ever since I killed a cell phone and put a garage door opener through a salt-water rinse (not to mention briefly fully submerging 2 full camera bags). At a minimum these days I put my phone / door opener in a small pelican box, and only carry the minimum of equipment (which still seems to be 1/2 of it!). Waders are quite cheap and offer good protection.
