    Abstracts

Reading Kris V's post about working certain pictures into abstracts reminded me of some of the crazy stuff I've done over the years. So as not to hijack that thread, I just started this one.

Might be fun for anyone here that is into abstract images to post some here. Of course if there aren't many members that are into it then this thread could be very short.

I'm big on....'I wonder what would happen if....' and I played around some with LEDs in a dark room with an open shutter. Came up with some pretty wild stuff on occasion. So, here's one...

Let's see some more of your abstracts.

Glad to help with the reminder, Bob.
I haven't ventured much into abstract photography yet - I'll get there eventually...
This image was created with a Kaleidoscopic filter.

No, but it's a free download from here.

That would be a bikini from the '60s, Izzie?

I like this image, bob. Beautiful colours. It reminds of sand bars receding into the ocean, and of looking out the window of plane at the clouds. Good stuff.

And thanks for the compliment. I got some really wild results with this filter. Love to play with it once in a while.

    Re: Abstracts

Thanks everyone. It was very simple to make......as Footloose mentioned above, it's a shot from a plane window, then I just added some motion blur to make a little less defined.
