    Love the mono pool shots Jon! I have a theory on alcohol and performance, creative or otherwise...one is good, two is better, by three you don't give you know what anymore and it is probably best to pack up whatever you are doing and call it a day/night The numbers may differ for you but I am a lightweight...

    Shane, I could not agree with you more. I will sometimes finish the 3rd before packing it up and heading to the house (I have a lot of mass to absorb that 3rd drink)

    Definitely some interesting creative thought in these, despite the modesty.

    The first one got me started as it was a little different, and only saw your face after carefully examining the whisky labels! Priorities!

    Ian, thanks for your comments. Yes, we all need to have priorities!! I find that I can be somewhat creative if I don't think about it too hard

    Week 6

    This weeks subject is "Some place you love".

    "some place I love" 1;
    In 1889 John H Bass built a summer mansion out of hand carved limestone on 65 acres West of Ft. Wayne. In 1902 the mansion was destroyed by fire. Rebuilt in 1903 and painstakingly restored in 2009-2010, this beauty still stands in all her glory.

    I like the first one Jon. Not as crowded in the frame as the other one.

    Re: Week 7 - Kids/Pets

    Well, week 7-Kids/pets-was by all means a challenge. One kid is away at college and the other kid is either at school, work or out with friends. So that left me with my dog Zoe. It seems like all she does is lay around and sleep and that is kinda boring!! So outside we went the other evening when it was snowing again and Zoe decided that she would track the rabbits that are living under the deck. I only got a couple of shots so this one will have to do.

    Thanks, I wish I would have paid more attention to the space around this Mansion. Oh well, it is only a few minutes from home, I can re-visit.

    Thanks Frank. I need to pay more attention to those things. I will re-visit in the spring when all the flowers are in bloom. It is amazing!

    I am enjoying your original view of things and look forward to the re-shoot of the mansion. Although I liked that series, they looked a little flat to me.

    Week 8

    It is now week 8 and the topic is "Whatever I want to shoot". So, with that being said I will offer up this image (seen in another thread earlier this week) not only because I shot the image, but I also shot the .44cal balls through the revolver for some stress-relief.
