    Now you're getting somewhere. In this image your eye is definitely being drawn into the bright drop of water, which is contrasted nicely by the dark leaves. I still find that the background is competes for the viewer's attention. I've put a slight vignette around the leaf to darken up the background a tag to demonstrate where I am coming from.

    Grumpy, i can see the effect of the vignette. if you ever get tired of diving in freezing water there are some very nice diving areas around us in the Philippines.
