Very Early Morning in Algonquin Park

Up in Algonquin Park for a few day for the fall colours, however could not resist some early morning fog shots, and we had good for it. I like the image however I am thinking that taking some off the top would make is a bit stronger. Hope that it shows well in the lightbox as there is a lot of detail in the foreground. Well I can always repost it lighter.

Allan, if it were mine, I wouldn't crop anything. And, I think there's plenty of detail in the foreground. At first, before I even read your comment, I was going to suggest bringing up some of the shadows, but after looking for a while, I think that would ruin the atmosphere you've got going here.

Sidetrack...I have seen many comments to 'opening in Lightbox' ...so I will be the one of a thousand of us...how do I do that?!
Is that a program? Or just open n another page?
I am SO a beginner at some of this ;(

I looks like you had better shooting conditions than I had when we were there last weekend.

Saturday was pretty well a 100% washout (it was totally gray and it rained quite steadily almost all day) and much of Sunday was only marginally better; with a solid gray, textureless cloud cover most of the time. The bad weather finally broke as we were getting ready to head home; it figures....

Hi, Allan. I am another one who would not crop it. I like this image the way it is. If mine, maybe I would just play a little with "lights & Shadows" (an maybe clarity) to check if a more dramatic atmosphere could be achieve. Very well done, mate!
