Third and fifth shot look good, any difference in processing these as opposed to the others?

    Hi John,

    Same Lightzone adjustments for all.

Most likely, the differences were due to the multi- colored/intensity spot lights and their respective location on the stage. There were spotlights on the front of the stage , meaning those dancers who were close to them ( for instance, #5) were better lighted than those at the back.

Please refer to #1 which shows different brightness and color.

    Thanks for your comments.

These are beautiful photos, Victor. #1, 3 and 5 are my favourites.

I imagine that it is incredibly challenging to photograph under these lighting conditions, and while I can't help you with adjusting the colours (purple lighting) I hope you do work on these as I think they are very special.

Beautiful series Victor. Lovely subjects. To my eye, they edge towards too much magenta. The skin tones are probably your best guide. Tried adjusting a couple. Taking the colour balance towards green slightly works but the most effective method turned out to be de saturating the magenta cast. Don't know if you can do that in Lightzone. Mind you that's just how I see them.

    Hi Christina, John,

Here are DeSat adjustments using LR 5.2RC, Lightzone, and Gimp2.8:

As a starting point, here is the SOOC of the NEF file converted/downsized to jpg. (using LR 5.2RC)

LR 5.2RC DeSaturated "purple". Magenta didn't look right.

    Hi Victor,

I think it is wonderful that you are working on these images. I'm truly sorry but this is far beyond my processing ability so I can't help but I'm sure someone else will be able to advise.
