    Macro, bees..something else..and flowers

    Hi all..just went out a bit today and putting some images down..pleease let me know what ya think... if any suggestions for improvement.( Composition, camera settings, post production and so on)

    Jasmine..i just really like the pink and white..works well..but can anyone recommend a better approach?

    This flower was actually Totally Yellow..so i played quite a bit with curves.. its nothing like the original..but i love the different oranges that come outta this image

    Finally..this is a mozzy...its about 4mm in length...and i feel for its size..im ecstatic with its sharpness

    I like images 4 and 7, because of the beautiful detail, colour, sharp focus (DOF) and background.

    Well if#4 is indeed a Bumble Bee, I think you did an excellent job...

    Indeed, I suspect it is akin to to trying to photograph microscopic birds in flight.

    Hi Claudio, I really like the colors in your first image. In this image my eyes were first drawn to the flowers in upper right part of the image. Is this what you intended? I then looked at the bee. This might be a function of my small viewing screen (13 inches). Normally you want the viewer to first look at what's in focus (bee). I'll be curious what others think.

    i See what you mean Karm...do you think my i should do a heavier crop? Might just be that the branch of flower is centered and it sorta drags the eye up the image rather than like you say..make the bee the focus of the image.

    Claudio, when I look at a blowup of your image the bee is so gloriously gorgeous while it feeds that I think it should be the star attraction in this image. On my small screen it's not.
