    I feel the the blurred buds towards the bottom could have been avoided by adjusting the view point

    Thanks Christina, I had to use Preset WB to get the early morning colour accurate.

    Thanks Nandakumer,

    Avoiding "blur" soft focus on the buds towards the bottom I would have had to use a smaller aperture making the background look "harder". Changing "view point" will not render more DOF.

    Andre, if I understand Nandakumar correctly, then he is quite right. It is not about increasing the depth of field to include more of the plant in focus, it is about shooting from a slightly lower viewpoint and tilting the camera up a little, to exclude some of the distracting bright blurred stuff from the bottom right of the frame. If that were possible, I think it would improve the image.
