    Picking fish

Another very low light shot here, with a guy selecting fish for his stall in the Dubai Fish Market.

    Sublime, Phil.

Perhaps not the strongest composition of the many street images you've shown us, but the lighting and the tones (again the light on folds of the fabric of his clothing and on the fish), are just glorious.

I agree, particularly over the quality. What Camera Phil?

Thanks guys - this is X100S again. There was no direct light around, but street lights like those in the distance which gave some light to the area. Just a test of high ISO and the camera' autofocus really.

The autofocus gets a few 'knockers' from DSLR users, especially in optical viewfinder mode, but I'm slowly finding my way around its foibles and intricacies - once you understand how it works and how to interpret the scene and subject, it can work well enough.
