    Never really understood how a gearbox works. Thanks for providing such an intriguing photo for me to ponder this mystery even more.

    Very nice conversion and juxtaposition! Great texture and detail in the subject.

    Do you have an image that has a little more space on the left? The subject seems a little crowded to me.

    I find that the transmission is fighting with the car in the background, and losing. The reflection of the car is quite light, and attracts our eyes; the gearbox is fairly dark and is crowded out and swallowed up, so that we don't notice it as well as we should.

    I hate to disagree with Manfred, but I will. I find the gearbox quite interesting and attractive...but then again I am a "Gearhead" from way back. Nice detail and conversion

    I have to agree but on the other hand its a very nice conversion tonally wrt the gearbox itself.
