    Cattle Egret at Siliguri

After getting tips from Joe i changed my settings for shooting birds i practiced a lot. Recently i took this pic of a cattle egret from my car. Interestingly enough whenever i tried to walk closer to this bird i spooked it. Now this picture looks much better than my previous shot of cattle egret. It was taken with Nikon D5100 at 500mm,f/8,1/250sec,+1 EV exposure compensation.C&C are welcome. Cattle Egret at Siliguri

That's very nice. Perhaps doesn't need all the space on the LHS but that's a very minor comment.

I forgot to say that the background is especially lovely... Focus/sharpness is great and colour is beautiful.

Very nice. I agree with John and Christina's comments and have nothing more to add.

    Very good Pinaki,

    Good exposure, light and sharpness.

I guess there is a bit more than is needed on the left, but my first thought (after the three good points already noted) was that a little more room for the feet at the bottom of frame, even though we cannot see them, would balance it better.

    Hope that helps,

Pinaki This is beauty! It pays to listen to photographers like Joe and Steve when it comes to birds for sure. Your colors put this right on top for me.

Agree with what's been said, and just want to add that it's nice to see a cattle egret getting the treatment. I think it's a much over-looked bird.
