    Humming bird #2

    Canon 1DII
    Canon 300 f/4 L + 2X TC
    ISO 1000

    f/8
    Exposure comp. -1/3
    Distance about 7 feet

Humming birds like to perch on a bare branch, near the feeder. This branch was placed, by me, for them to land on. It was secured with twisty ties.(the one's you get with garbage bags) It was placed in an opening in a pine tree, where I could get a little distance, behind it, to blur the background. Just a little trick I learned, in case someone wants to try it.

Beautiful shot. I placed my branch (per previous tips from you) a couple of weeks ago. Just haven't had the chance... Love your hummingbird shots!
