Old woman in sepia - worth changing?

I like this image because the subject could be a generic Mediterranean, Adriatic, Ionian, Turkish area woman. But, one of the problems with this image is that there is not enough room behind the old women..

This results from the NIK Software border intruding into the image rather than appearing outside the image area. Here is the image in color with a border done in Photoshop which appears at the outside of the image area rather than intruding into the image...

The cropping on the color image (minus the border) is the same as it was before I converted the image using NIK Silver Efex Pro...

Here is the image with more space to the rear of the old woman...

What do you think? Is it worth changing?

Richard, I like the sepia tone in the first pic. Regardless it is a very nice image.

Richard, nice image. Definitely needs that little bit of space behind her. Nothing wrong with the border and the border you selected goes with the image. Still, I can't help but think that the border in some way distracts from the image.

Very nice, worth changing-using more space behind the figure.

I agree with John- too excellent an image to intentionally keep a correctable defect.

I relly like the NIK software but, the fact that I have to guestimate the cropping when I use a border annoys me somewhat since I usually crop pretty closely...

The sepia works very well but I agree, the first border detracts slightly. For that reason I prefer the third version. One way or the other, it's a really good image.
