    I like it very much, and I like the Orton. The Orton effect might have suffered the same fate as HDR with heavy tone-mapping, but seems not to have been so over-used and overdone. You have accomplished it very subtly and elegantly.

    +1 from me Steve. Not a usual subject for the Orton effect but it works.

    Cheers John, it is sort of Orton, if I use the same principles but diluted, to me it is still Orton.

    Hi Steve,

    I like what you have done with this.

    I have one quandary; I cannot decide whether the guy in background (on left) adds anything to the shot.
    If he were facing out of shot, I would definitely suggest a bit of cloning to remove him, but as he is, he almost directs one's gaze back to the train.

    Cheers Dave, I didn't know it was a guy but it could be, there is a level crossing there leading to a reservoir .
