Just found this - Kodak discontinues darkroom chemicals

I have been toying with the idea of going back into developing my own B&W negatives. In researching what is available on the net I ran across the announcement from Kodak, dated 19 October, 2009. I thought it might be of interest to a few here.

Kodak has discontinued production of many of its chemicals in hobby / home quantities.

    Have a guess :)

I guess that the bottom line is really the bottom line in that it's just not profitable for many manufacturers anymore.

Looks like a business opportunity for someone who doesn't mind the work.

Some people are formulating their own, now.

    Others have already found substitutes.

(I received that one from saltgrass photography, a developer doing only B&W)
