1, 2 and 5 work for me.

In 3, perhaps a cleaner, colour contrasting background may have worked better.

Thanks for the suggestion, Bobo. That will probably have to wait til next autumn now, though. After the last 10 days of heavy rain I doubt there will be a deciduous tree anywhere with a leaf left on it.

Leaves are surprisingly difficult to photograph well, Greg.

I have ditched loads of them which looked fantastic in real life but never made the transition into a photo.

#1 and #2 are working best for me.

Greg, #1, #2, #4 and #5 are very nice and I enjoyed viewing them. #3 makes me dizzy and I can't look at it for long.
