    Milkweed Bug

Went out with the 50mm+12mm extension tube again. I have so many wildflowers on the property right now that it's very frustrating that it's been windy every morning. I did manage to get these two shots before I gave up fighting the wind.

These red bugs are Milkweed Bug nymphs. They were very active but unconcerned by my presence.

As a side note, I'm trying out using Picasa Web Albums instead of using TinyPic for posting. It's much easier using the Publish services in Lightroom and I already use Picasa for posting to Google+ so we'll see how it works out.

f/22, 1/125, ISO 400, 50mm+12mm extension tube. #2 is actual size except for slight crop for aspect ratio. #1 is cropped for a closer look.

Terri, not in taking photographs of insects; however you did a good job on these captures.

Thanks Grahame and Bruce for taking the time. Bruce, I don't do a lot of bugs either but they were the most cooperative subject today!
