    Ilford Classic Pearl

I've always used Ilford Classic pearl for my B/W prints, A3. Now I had two or three boxes but when I come to replenish my stock I find to my horror that it has been discontinued.
My questions now are, does anyone know anybody who still has stock, very long shot, or what be be a recommendation as a replacement.

Neil, don't have a source for the classic pearl.
I'd suggest you try Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk as a possible alternative.
Otherwise I have really become rather impressed with the Harman Crystaljet Gloss and Lustre papers.

'exiled' in Ireland with a name like Neil! Don't believe you.. Are you on the Murphy's or the Guinness

It has been replaced, I would suggest that you go to the Ilford home page, look under banner "community", "Ilford Webinars" which are free, and find the one "Joe Brady Choosing the right paper". In it, it takes about the new pearl and B&W prints, has some good information.

    Cheers:

Indeed I am, most Irish seem to spell it Niall ( funny people ) and mine, if I could get it here, would be a pint of Heavy!!!
